ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Sunday marked the first official day of practice for the UCF women's basketball team.
The Knights, who enter the first season under head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, spent Sunday morning practicing at CFE Arena.
UCF opens the season on Nov. 11 at FIU before returning for the home opener against South Alabama at CFE Arena on Nov. 13.
Seniors Zykira Lewis and Joslyn Massey highlight an experienced group of returners for the Black and Gold. The Knights bring back starters in all five positions, including junior Aliyah Gregory and sophomores Ashley Polacek and Nyala Shuler. UCF added three talented newcomers, including Orlando native Korneila Wright.
