Know Your Gate

With the addition of the Stadium Club that takes up the concourse from sections 108-113, fans are not allowed to walk around the full circle of the stadium. It is important to Know Your Gate before entering the stadium.

Fan Experience

These amenities inside FBC Mortgage Stadium help to enhance the fan experience.

  • A clear bag policy has been implemented for all patrons entering the stadium (see graphic to right)
  • Larger Main LED Display and Soundsystem

  • Food Trucks, VIP Tent and Beer Garden on IOA
  • Knight Walk through IOA Plaza (starts two hours before kickoff)
  • March to Victory (90 minutes before kickoff) - join Pegasus, Knightro, the Marching Knights and the UCF Spirit Teams on the corner of Gemini and East Plaza Dr. for the Fan March to the stadium
  • Ribbon display to the south end zone measures more than seven feet high by 199 feet wide
  • Concourse signage for past players and teams
  • There are 13 permanent concession stands
  • Registration date and time for Memory Mall spaces based on fan feedback is set to begin at 6 p.m. the Sunday prior to gameday
  • Three Water Monsters inside FBC Mortgage Stadium and One at the student line to provide fans with complimentary ice water
  • Use of Pyrotechnics for pregame and in-game feature
Prohibited Items
To ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable visit to FBC Mortgage Stadium, guests are not permitted to bring the following items into the stadium:
  • Bags
  • Strollers
    • Check-in is located at Gates 5 & 14 Guest Services Tents.
    • You may be permitted to enter through any stadium gate with a stroller
  • Video cameras or camcorders 
  • Still cameras (professional) with lenses over five inches long and/or 50mm and above
  • Aerosol cans (hair spray, mace, pepper spray)
  • Balloons (air or helium)
  • Banners and flags
  • Balls (beach balls, footballs, baseballs, etc.)
  • Cans/bottles
  • Coolers (hard or soft sided)
  • Confetti or glitter
  • Drones
  • Fireworks/flares
  • Frisbees
  • Food and drink
  • Illegal substances
  • Laser pointers
  • Personal chair back seats
  • Picnic baskets
  • Horns, whistles or artificial noisemakers
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Tripods
  • Umbrellas
  • Weapons. No weapons are allowed in the Stadium. Possession of a firearm or any other weapon is strictly forbidden. Possession of such a weapon will result in immediate confiscation, ejection and possible arrest.
The following items will be permitted after inspection:
  • Signs (no poles, sticks or braces allowed)
  • Binoculars and binocular cases
  • Cameras (must comply with the camera/lens limits)
  • Small bags, purses and fanny packs (must comply with the bag limits)
  • Small radios (must be used with an earpiece)

 Signs

  • Generally - signs are permitted at athletic events. They must adhere to the following conditions.
  • Cannot exceed 22x28 inches (standard poster board size)
  • May not be attached to posts, standards, or sticks.
  • May not obstruct sight lines of others in attendance.
  • May not block or detract from sponsor signage - or be commercial in nature.
  • Must be in good taste and show good sportsmanship.
  • May not contain objectionable language or innuendo.
  • Should be positive in nature and relate to the event.
  • May not have the potential to incite others.
  • May not detract from the event and must be used in a safe manner.
  • May not be placed on railings or game goals.
  • These standards are at the complete discretion of athletic event mgt personnel and/or law enforcement.
  • The UCFAA reserves the rights to disallow signs/banners at any event without notice.
Severe Weather

UCF Athletics, in close consultation with UCF Emergency Management and the National Weather Service office in Melbourne, closely monitors local weather on gameday.

When lightning/inclement weather is detected within 15 miles of the stadium, announcements will be made to notify fans that we are monitoring the weather. Per UCF and conference protocol, game play will be paused if lightning strikes within 8 miles of the stadium. The game may not resume any sooner than 30 minutes following last strike within the 8-mile radius.  

Once the game is suspended, fans who are inside the stadium have discretion to exit the stadium to seek shelter.  Anyone who exits may re-enter after their ticket is re-scanned at their designated gate.

Student Tickets

Our students will be creating a Knightmare for opponents no matter which direction the offense is heading. The student section features all the seats in the north end zone and the lower level of the south end zone.

Knightmare Society
The Knightmare Society was founded in 2017 to assist in fundraising efforts to support UCF's 435 student-athletes. Funds raised by the Knightmare Society and other organizations help Knight student-athletes attend and compete for UCF. The Knightmare Society is an organization built and run by UCF students, and is supported by UCF Athletics.

  • Video monitors: There are 112 video monitors mounted throughout the facility, including 20 that were added to the main concourse in 2015.  
  • Stadium lighting system is the Sportscluster Green Lighting System by Musco. There are 168 1,500 watt metal halide fixtures mounted on four 140' galvanized steel poles.
  • Facility Area: 1,089,000 square feet.  Footprint: 25 acres
  • The stadium is a steel structure, containing 2,452 tons of steel. More than 600 truckloads of concrete were used (equivalent to 60,000 yards or 1,620,000 cubic feet) with a weight of approximately 240,000,000 pounds.
  • Stadium Dimensions: 725 feet wide x 900 feet long.
  • Roth Tower: 200 feet long x 50 feet wide x 120 feet high. There are 190 steps from ground level the roof.
  • Ornamental Fencing and Gates: approximately 1,195 linear feet of Ornamental Fencing and Gates surround the stadium.
  • Electrical Wiring: There are approximately 30 miles of underground electrical wiring.
