Major Exploration Our goal is to provide opportunities for our student-athletes to look into various majors, their requirements, and possible career opportunities. We encourage student-athletes to keep their interest and goals in mind while exploring the plethora of options that are available. | |
Networking Knights The purpose of the event is to introduce the student-athletes to the networking aspect of the business world. Business professionals come and teach the student-athletes the art of networking and the proper way to facilitate communication. All seniors are required to attend if they are not in competition. | |
Professional Career Panels Career Panels are designed to provide a forum to meet and discuss career and employment requirements and opportunities with student-athletes who are looking to start their professional careers in the near future. | |
Resume Writing Workshops The PRIDE staff provides opportunities for student-athletes to learn and apply the logistics of creating an appealing and effective resume. One-on-one sessions are available and Resume Creation Packets are provided to aid in the process. | |
KnightLink Through KnightLink, students can search for part-time and full-time jobs, post resumes for full-time employment, obtain employer information and access on-campus interviewing and recruiting events. This is a FREE service for UCF students and recent graduates. | |
Mock Interviews Mock interviews are designed to prepare student-athletes for the real world interviewing process. Student-athletes are interviewed by members of the athletic department's staff, university staff, and members of the local business community. After doing a minimum of three different interviews, student-athletes are then provided feedback forms with recommendations to further help prepare them to successfully interview for any position they go after. | |
