ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF men's tennis team closes out the regular season on Saturday, facing their fifth American Athletic Conference opponent. The Knights are set to face No. 24 Tulsa at 2 p.m. ET at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Knights (9-11) return to action after topping Bethune-Cookman, 6-1, in the final home contest of 2016.

Junior Inaki Espindola has six wins at No. 1 singles, while junior Chris Barrus has five wins at No. 2. Sophomore Nico De Fraia has collected eight of his 11 singles wins at No. 5.

In doubles action, UCF's No. 1 tandem of Barrus and Espindola have nine wins on the season. Sangroniz and partner sophomore Tyler Pate have four wins at No. 2, while junior Mariano Porter and freshman Jack Thiessen have four wins at No. 3.

Tulsa enters the match with a 14-12 overall record, but have dropped their last three contests. Or Ram-Harel is No. 53 in the ITA singles rankings, posting at 3-11 record at No. 1. The doubles team of Matthew Kirby and Dylan McCloskey are ranked No. 75 in the ITA rankings with a 5-6 record at No. 1.

Sunday's meeting marks the ninth matchup between the two programs, and the Golden Hurricane lead the all-time series 7-1. UCF's lone victory came in 1978.

The Knights head to Memphis next week for the 2016 American Athletic Conference Championships.The tournament begins April 21 at The Dunavant Wellford Tennis Center.
