SUGAR GROVE, Ill. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF is in seventh place at the Northern Intercollegiate after one day of action at Rich Harvest Farms. Saturday's second round was suspended due to darkness, with the Knights sitting at 21-over.
Freshman Donnie Trosper, playing in his first collegiate event, was 3-over and in 14th place to lead the Knights. Trosper was 1-over in the first round. He sat at +2 through 12 holes when play was suspended. Sophomores Juuso Kahlos and Manuel Elvira are tied for 23rd at 5-over. Ryan Stovash is in 39th place at 8-over, accounting for the rest of the team scoring for the Knights.
Andrew Arft rounded out the Knights' lineup.
The second round will resume Sunday morning at 8 a.m., with the third round to follow.
