ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - No. 22 UCF flexed its offensive muscles on Saturday night, tallying 16 hits in a 13-4 victory over Siena. Freshman left fielder Kyle Marsh continued his hot start with a 4-for-5 performance including a two-run homer and three RBI at the UCF Baseball Complex.

A career-best five RBI game was recorded by senior second baseman Dylan Moore, who added three base knocks. Senior center fielder Erik Barber added two hits and drove in a pair of runs.

After Siena's Dan Swain led off the game with a solo homer, sophomore Robby Howell settled down and fanned seven over 5.1 innings to earn the victory. Senior Tanner Olson, freshmen Eric Hepple and Brad Rowley each fanned one and combined to not give up an earned run in relief.

The Knights responded in the second as senior shortstop Tommy Williams homered to left, tying the game, 1-1. It was the first at bat of the season for the North Palm Beach, Fla., native, who paced the American Athletic Conference with 12 homers last year.

A leadoff single by senior center fielder JoMarcos Woods started off the third inning. He came around to score on a base hit up the middle by Barber, 2-1.

The fourth inning is where the Knights broke the game open with three runs on three hits. Marsh tallied a double down the left field line before Moore doubled to the fence in right. A clutch two-out, two-RBI single was recorded by Barber to extend the advantage to 5-1.

After Siena cut the lead to 5-2, the Knights struck for four runs on a three-run triple by Moore, who came around to score on the throw to the plate.

Following a single to left by sophomore Matt Diorio, Marsh connected on his first career homer, a shot the hit the foul pole down the left field line, 13-2.

Two more runs were tacked on in the ninth by the Knights.

The contest started three hours later than the scheduled time of 4 p.m., due to field maintenance after a pipe behind the pitcher's mound broke.
