Knights Enjoy Solid Start at USTA Clay Court Invit

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF had a solid opening day of play at the USTA Clay Court Invitational, taking two singles and two doubles victories. Matthew Gladstone and Jose Sangroniz won singles tilts at Grand Cypress.

In doubles round of 32 competition at Disney Wide World of Sports, Gladstone joined Francesc Aulina for a win, and Jesse Flores and Amar Hromic were victorious.

Florida State is hosting the event, which is the final fall tournament of the campaign for the Knights. Play will continue Friday at Disney.
