MEMPHIS, Tenn. (UCFAthletics.com) - Despite a first-half lead, the No. 6 UCF women's soccer team couldn't hang on in its 2-1 overtime loss at Memphis in the Conference USA opener on Friday night. UCF's unbeaten streak was snapped at five as the Knights (6-2-1, 0-1 C-USA) lost their first overtime match in four years.

Senior forward Nicolette Radovcic rolled her scoring streak to three games when she put UCF on the board in the 42nd minute. Defender Carleigh Williams forwarded a ball to Andrea Rodrigues, who played a ball into the box to Radovcic, who beat goalkeeper Christa Strickland to the left.

Memphis (5-3, 1-0 C-USA) netted the equalizer in the 70th minute when Sarah Daane sent a laser into the left post from 20 yards away.

UCF keeper Lianne Maldonado came up with three more saves throughout the next 20 minutes to force the game into overtime.

Radovcic attacked first in the extra period at 91:39, but her shot was blocked. The Tigers capitalized less than 20 seconds later when Christabel Oduro played a ball into the box to Kylie Davis, who finished to the right post from 10 yards out.

Up next, the Knights travel to UAB on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup.

Season tickets are available for UCF's remaining home games, beginning at $30. A complimentary soccer scarf comes with each purchase. The Gold Pass, which includes season tickets to all volleyball, men's and women's soccer, women's basketball, softball and track and field contests, is also available now.
