ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 6 UCF men's soccer team will return to action Saturday for a key Conference USA contest at UAB. The match at Birmingham's West Campus Field is set for 8 p.m. Eastern.

The Knights enter the key league tilt at 8-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in league play. For the second-straight week, UCF is listed at sixth in the Soccer America Top 25 poll. The ranking is the highest in program history.

UCF is eager to return to the field after it played to a scoreless draw at FIU Tuesday. The league match in Miami was called with 4:49 remaining in regulation due to unplayable field conditions at FIU Soccer Stadium after heavy rain fell during the second half.

UCF junior Shawn Doyle (Fort Myers, Fla.) totaled six saves against the Panthers. The contest was the first for the Knights since Oct. 1. UCF was scheduled to host South Carolina last Saturday, but the match was postponed due to heavy rain.

Offensively, the Knights are led by sophomore McKauly Tulloch (Kingston, Jamaica). The forward is among the national leaders in scoring and has 12 goals in nine matches in 2011.

The Blazers enter the contest ranked No. 4 in the midwest region according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) rankings, which were released on Monday. UAB is 7-3-2 overall and 1-1-0 in C-USA play.

Last year, the Blazers picked up a 2-1 win over the Knights.

The Knights are unbeaten on the road this year. The team is 4-0-2 away from Orlando.
