ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - News and notes from the UCF football team for Tuesday, Aug. 30. Today's daily report includes several key links to help fans prepare for Saturday's season-opener.

-2011 UCF Gameday Central went live Monday night. Check it out by clicking Here. And read up on UCF's Game Notes.
-Several Parking Details were released Monday as well, including notes on parking passes and a gameday tram service.
-"Lunch with George" returns Friday at noon in the J. Rolfe Davis Lounge on the south side of Bright House Networks Stadium. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive free Chick-fil-A, and parking is available in lots E6 and E7.
-Conference USA has posted a great video feature with the league's coaches, along with other important information for the 2011 season. Head to C-USA Football to learn more.

-Projected to start as UCF's strong safety this season.
-Takes the place of departed senior Reggie Weams, who started 12 contests a year ago.
-As a true freshman in 2010, recorded two tackles before sitting out the year, earning a redshirt.
-Was an all-state defensive back as a senior in high school, while he also was an all-state running back his junior year.
-Cousin Jarvis Geathers lettered for the Knights from 2008-09.

Stat of the Day
-The Knights collected at least 300 yards of total offense in all seven home games last year.

What to Look For
-The UCF Football Student Season Ticket Event will be held Wednesday at the Student Union from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students who have already purchased their student season tickets can pickup their exclusive t-shirt and "THE PATCH" as well.
-On Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. in room 135 of the Business Administration building, there will be an orientation for new members who are interested in joining CEO Knights. All majors are welcome.

UCF football season ticket packages can be purchased online at UCFAthletics.com or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000. Should UCF host the C-USA Championship Game for the fourth time in seven years, it would be played on Saturday, Dec. 3, and season ticket holders will receive the first shot at the best seats.
