ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF rowing team hosts its lone home regatta Saturday, as it is set to compete against sunshine state rivals Miami, Stetson and Jacksonville at the UCF Intercollegiate Rowing Center on Lake Pickett. The first event of the day is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
The Black and Gold's varsity eight squad will take on Miami and Jacksonville in the first race of the day beginning at 9 a.m., before UCF's second varsity four team is scheduled to face off against Stetson at 9:15 a.m.
A head-to-head novice four match-up between UCF and Miami will get underway at 9:30 a.m.
The Knights and the Hurricanes will conclude the day with both their novice eight and varsity four squads taking to the water at 9:45 a.m. and 10 a.m., respectively.
Saturday's race is the first home event for the Knights this season and will also serve as their Senior Day.
