ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The dual-match season will come to an end this weekend when the UCF women's tennis team travels to face FIU Saturday and FAU Sunday. Both matches feature a first serve at 11 a.m.

Heading into the weekend, the No. 68 Knights (10-7) are coming off a 4-3 victory over in-state rival Stetson, extending their winning streak to three matches. Senior Jenny Frisell and junior Alexis Rodriguez collected an 8-4 doubles victory over Sierra Sullivan and MayaBlue Stauffer-MacDowell, and the Knights won four singles positions to defeat the Hatters. That was highlighted by sophomore Allison Hodges claiming her fourth-straight singles victory when she collected a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Jen Miller.

No. 69 FIU currently holds a 10-6 record with key wins over UNLV, FAU and Eastern Michigan. Last season the Knights took on the Golden Panthers at the UCF Tennis Complex where FIU took a 4-3 victory from UCF.

FAU is coming off a 4-3 win over University of Maryland-Baltimore County, moving the Owls to 13-10 on the season. The Owls took on the Knights last season and the Black and Gold walked away with the win.

UCF will be hosting the C-USA Women's Tennis Championship April 21-24 at the Lake Cane Tennis Center in Orlando, and admission will be free for all fans.
