Allison Hodgers joined UCF as the volunteer assistant coach for 2012-13. She played for three seasons with the Knights, and below is her collegiate bio as well as notes from her playing time while living in Tennessee.
2011-12: Selected to the C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll for producing a GPA of at least 3.0...Hodges posted a 3-13 record in singles play for the Knights in the 2011-12 season...Defeated Texas Tech, Florida A&M in singles play...Impressive victory over No. 5 Baylor in singles...Partnered with Josephine Haraldson and Taylor Dubins in doubles.
2010-11: Earned a spot on the C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll for having a GPA of at least a 3.0...Posted an impressive 2010-11 season, with a 6-3 overall record in singles play...Defeated such opponents as Cara Wald from Miami (Ohio), Cassandra Escobar from Iowa and Jen Miller from Stetson...Defeated opponents from two ranked teams in 2010-11, Manon Veldman of No. 36 FSU and Kim Anicete of No. 66 Rice...Compiled a three-match winning streak starting against Miami (Ohio) and ending with a win over Andrea Arques-Garcia from Memphis.
2009-10: Earned an 11-15 overall singles mark and a 3-13 doubles record...Went 4-1 against Conference USA opponents in singles...Claimed a three-set victory over Florida[apos]s Brittany Borsanyi at the Gator Fall Classic...Picked up three wins in her first five matches of the dual-match season...Had an 8-4 record at the No. 5 singles position...Started the dual-match season with sophomore Christy Core at the No. 3 doubles spot with a win over Florida Gulf Coast...The duo also collected a victory over East Carolina.
Prior to UCF: Playing for Houston High School outside of Memphis, won the Tennessee Class AAA single championship in 2008-09...Her performance in 2008 allowed her to be named The Commercial Appeal[apos]s 2007-08 Pepsi Best of the Preps Girls Tennis Player of the Year...In the 2007 state tournament, along with partner Mary Caroline Hooker, surrendered just four games in three matches for the doubles crown, while she cruised through both singles matches to lift HHS to the team title...As a freshman, she teamed with Hooker to give up five games for their first championship, and posted 6-0, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1 wins in the team singles draw to hand HHS the team trophy...Ranked first in her state, was one of only two players in Tennessee to be listed as a four-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net...Also stood at No. 84 in the country at one point in her career...Reached the finals of three different events during 2008: the Polar Bear Classic Open in Arkansas in March, the Aquafina RTC Jr. Open in Mississippi in April and the Tennessee State BG18-16 Qualifying in June.
