ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After claiming the title at the Rio Pinar Invitational in early March, the UCF men's golf team will return to action with an experienced lineup at the BancorpSouth Intercollegiate in Madison, Miss. The event begins on Monday.
UCF concluded qualifying for the tournament on Wednesday. Senior Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal), juniors Connor Arendell (Cape Coral, Fla.) and Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.), sophomore Reid Martin (Mukilteo, Wash.) and freshman Greg Eason (Leicester City, England) will be in action for the Knights.
Arendell, Henriques and Martin received tournament exemptions from the UCF coaching staff for placing in the top 15 at Rio Pinar. Eason participated in qualifying despite his top-15 finish, and claimed the four-round qualifier at North Shore at 277 (-11). Schneider placed second among those not exempt (284, -4).
The BancorpSouth Intercollegiate will serve as UCF's final event before the Conference USA Championship, which starts on April 24 in Texarkana, Ark.
