ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Off to an incredible start this spring, the UCF men's golf team will return to action Friday when play begins at the USF Invitational in Dade City. The three-day, three-round event will be held at the Lake Jovita Country Club.

Earlier in the week, the Knights, who are ranked 30th nationally, placed fourth at the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational in Ponte Vedra Beach. The tournament included nine of the top-50 squads in the country, and UCF finished ahead of several of the ranked teams, including No. 2 Florida.

Freshman Greg Eason (Leicester City, England) tied for sixth at 215 (-1). For posting his second top-10 finish in as many events during the spring, Eason was named the Conference USA Golfer of the Week on Wednesday. The honor was the third of the season for the freshman.

Eason will be joined in the lineup in Dade City by senior Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal), juniors Connor Arendell (Cape Coral, Fla.) and Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.) and sophomore Reid Martin (Mukilteo, Wash.). All five of the golfers participated in the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational.

Twenty-one teams will be in action in Dade City, including Louisville, North Texas, Rhode Island, Toledo and host USF.
