ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF will host its lone tournament of the year starting Monday when play begins at the Rio Pinar Invitational at the Rio Pinar Country Club. On Saturday, UCF finalized its lineup for the event.
Senior Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal), juniors Connor Arendell (Cape Coral, Fla.) and Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.) and freshmen Greg Eason (Leicester City, England) and Kyle Wilshire (Georgetown, Ky.) will all compete for the Knights.
Arendell, Eason and Henriques received exemptions from the UCF coaching staff for posting top-25 finishes at the John Hayt Invitational earlier in the spring. Schneider received an exemption for a top-15 performance at the USF Invitational. Wilshire claimed the top spot by posting the best mark among four golfers in qualifying.
A pair of Knights - sophomore Reid Martin (Mukilteo, Wash.) and freshman Hojin Kang (Lake Mary, Fla.) - will compete as individuals at the Rio Pinar Invitational.
UCF will be one of 18 teams in action at the two-day tournament.
