ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Needing just one victory to match its win total from a year ago, the UCF men's basketball team will return to the UCF Arena floor Wednesday to host Conference USA foe East Carolina at 7 p.m. The first 1,500 fans to enter the arena will receive a free UCF UKnight t-shirt courtesy of game sponsor SunTrust Banks.

The Knights (14-2, 1-2 C-USA), who are receiving votes in both national polls, have opened the Donnie Jones era at UCF in strong fashion. UCF went 15-17 in 2009-10, and can match the victory total with just one win.

UCF is 10-0 at home this season. The Knights will be playing at the UCF Arena for the first time since Jan. 5, when they opened league play with a 65-58 triumph over Marshall.

Sophomore guard Marcus Jordan (Chicago, Ill.) has been solid since conference play began. He is averaging a team-high 18.7 points in league play. Jordan totaled 26 points in the win over Marshall.

The Pirates are 9-8 overall and 1-2 in league games under new head coach Jeff Lebo. East Carolina fell to visiting UAB, 66-59, Monday in a game that was rescheduled from last week due to inclement weather in North Carolina. Jontae Sherrod leads the team in scoring at 14.2 points per game.

Tickets for the contest are available at Ticketmaster.com or at UCFAthletics.com. On Wednesday, the UCF Arena box office will be open before the contest. UCF students are admitted free with a valid school ID.

UCF-East Carolina will be televised live in central Florida on Bright House Sports Network. David Baumann will handle the play-by-play, and will be joined on the broadcast by former UCF standout guard Mike O'Donnell.

Fans in Orlando can listen to the game on the UCF Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 The Game. Marc Daniels will have the call from courtside. Live video and statistics will be available on UCFAthletics.com.
