ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's softball team will wrap up the 2010 fall season with a nine-inning contest against Rollins Saturday at the UCF Softball Complex beginning at 9:30 a.m. UCF won last year's matchup with Rollins, holding the Tars scoreless and posting an 8-0 win.

The Knights have won all five games this fall with wins against Daytona State College, Hillsborough Community College, Florida State College at Jacksonville and Seminole Community College (doubleheader). UCF has batted in 38 runs and given up only nine in those contests.

Last season, the Knights made it to the 2010 NCAA Tournament for the third time in school history after posting a 36-23 overall record, including a 16-7 Conference USA record. The Knights also appeared in the C-USA Championship title game in Houston vs. East Carolina.

The Knights return four players who garnered All-C-USA honors last season. Tiffany Lane (Moreno Valley, Calif.) and Natalie Land (Mayo, Fla.) were named to the All-C-USA First Team, and Abby McClain (Waterloo, Iowa) was named to the All-C-USA Second Team. Marissa Menendez (Tampa, Fla.) was selected to the all-freshman team.

The Knights will begin the 2011 spring season at the UCLA Tournament in Los Angeles, Calif. from Feb. 11-13. The Black and Gold will face UCLA, North Dakota State, San Diego State and Utah State.
