ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF men's soccer team will conclude a three-game homestand Saturday night with a matchup against Conference USA foe Memphis at 7 p.m. The Knights are 3-0 in league play for the first time since joining C-USA in 2005 after defeating FIU, 2-0, Tuesday night. This season, UCF is 4-0 in games played at the UCF Soccer Complex.

The Knights improved to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in conference with the two-goal win Tuesday night against the Golden Panthers. Sophomores Eduardo Jimenez (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and Luiz Yamashita (Sao Paulo, Brazil) scored the two tallies in the contest for the Knights. Entering the game, neither had previously scored at UCF, making the two markers the first of their careers.

Memphis enters the game with a mark of 3-6 overall and 0-2 in C-USA play. The Tigers snapped a five-game losing skid with a 2-1 win Tuesday night over Central Arkansas at home. This year, the team is led by junior Parker Duncan and his three goals and one assist. Sophomore Jordan Leedle has played seven games in goal, posting a 3-4 record with a 1.43 goals-against average.

Goalkeeper Shawn Doyle (Ft. Myers, Fla.) recorded his fourth shutout of the season, making three saves in the win. Doyle has now allowed just six goals in 820 minutes of action for a goals-against average of 0.66 in 2010.

Nik Robson (Auckland, New Zealand) assisted on Jimenez's first career goal in the final minutes of the first half against FIU. The assist was his team-leading fifth of the year and gave the sophomore midfielder 19 points on the season. Robson ranked third in the nation in points per game coming into the week and added to his total with the point against the Golden Panthers.

Junior captain Kevan George (Roxborough, Trinidad) picked up his first point of the season with an assist on the Yamashita goal in the 69th minute. George put a long, high pass up the middle of the field that Yamashita corralled and put in the far back corner of the goal for the 2-0 lead.

Following Saturday night's game, the Knights head back out on the road for another road trip. UCF will begin a three-game road swing at Kentucky on Oct.13 before heading to take on South Carolina on Oct. 16. The Knights will wrap up the trip against ACC opponent Virginia Tech on Oct.19 in a game that will feature Yamashita returning to face the team he played for in 2008.

The first 50 fans in attendance will receive a UCF soccer t-shirt.
