UCF 24, Buffalo 10
Sept. 18, 2010
Buffalo, N.Y.

TEAM NOTES
-It is just the third time in the last 13 years that UCF has won its road opener.
-The Knights are now 7-1 all-time against Buffalo and 2-1 at UB.
-This is the third time under George O'Leary that UCF has stood at 2-1 on the year. Each of the first two (2007 and 2009) led to bowl berths.
-UCF has now won 20 of its last 23 games when scoring at least 20 points.
-With Ronnie Weaver's efforts tonight, UCF now has four players on its roster who have had two rushing TDs in a game in their career as Weaver joins Jeff Godfrey, Brynn Harvey and Latavius Murray in that regard.
-The Knights had their first two interceptions of the year tonight (Reggie Weams and Bruce Miller).
-UCF has now scored on each of its last 14 red-zone possessions dating back to last year's UAB game on Nov, 28. UCF is 10-for-10 in the red zone this year with nine touchdowns and one field goal.
-UCF's 15-play, 90-yard, 7:07 scoring drive was its longest since: a 15-play, 8:27 march against Houston on Nov. 14, 2009, a 97-yard march against Tulane on Nov. 21, 2009.
-Prior to Bruce Miller tonight, the last UCF defensive lineman to return an interception for a touchdown was Jerry Nemethy on a 39-yard return against Alabama A&M on Oct. 17, 1981.
-Bruce Miller's interception return for a touchdown is UCF's first since Josh Robinson ran one back 24 yards for a score at Rice on Oct. 24, 2009.
-With Nick Cattoi's first quarter field goal, UCF has now scored on its opening drive twice in three games this year (tonight and Sept. 4 vs. South Dakota).

-The last UCF quarterback to win on the road in his first-career start was Ryan Schneider at Eastern Michigan on Sept. 30, 2000.
-With the opening drive field goal tonight, Godfrey led UCF to scores on five of his first eight drives as a Knight (three touchdowns and two field goals).
-David Bohner saw his first-career action as a punter tonight.
-Abré Leggins made his first start of the season tonight at left tackle and the seventh start of his UCF career after making six starts last fall at guard.
