ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After winning the Conference USA title last week, the UCF men's golf team will compete in its final event of the regular season at the Golden Ocala Invitational on Thursday. The one-day, 36-hole tournament is hosted by Florida at the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club in Ocala.

The Knights will compete in a field that includes Florida, Florida State and USF. Both Florida and Florida State are ranked in top-20 nationally.

Teeing off for the Knights are seniors Devin Spies (Sarasota, Fla.) and Simon Ward (County Monagahn, Ireland), junior Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal), and sophomores Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.) and Connor Arendell (Cape Coral, Fla.). Freshman Reid Martin (Mukilteo, Wash.) will be competing as an individual at the event.

Henriques, Arendell, and Schneider all tied for second place at the C-USA Championship, finishing the tournament two-under par 214; while Ward tied for sixth with an even-par 216.

The Knights will begin postseason play at the NCAA Regionals on May 20.
