TULSA, Okla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Fans can learn more about UCF's task at the Conference USA Men's Basketball Championship Tuesday when UCF Sports Today with Kirk Speraw airs. The 30-minute show, which is the final episode of the season, is set for 10:30 a.m. on Bright House Sports Network, 12:30 p.m. on UCF TV and statewide on Sun Sports at 4 p.m.
On the show, Speraw and host Marc Daniels will preview the league tournament. The Knights will open the event Wednesday, facing SMU at 8:30 p.m. Eastern at the BOK Center in Tulsa. The winner of the UCF-SMU contest will meet top-seed UTEP in the quarterfinals Thursday at 10 p.m. Eastern.
This week's program includes a feature story on senior guard Drew Speraw (Oviedo, Fla.). Speraw is the lone senior on the squad, and hopes to start a career in coaching once concluding his time as a student-athlete.
