Women's Tennis Upended by No. 60 Harvard

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 60 Harvard at home Saturday. With the loss the Knights moved to 7-2 on the season while the Crimson improved their record to 6-4.

Harvard got out to an early lead when it claimed the doubles point. However, Andrea Yacaman and Taylor Dubins collected one doubles win defeating Alexandra Lehman and Sophie Chang, 8-2, at the No. 3 position.

Despite dropping the first set, 6-3, senior Katie Orletsky fought hard to capture a singles victory over Samanatha Gridley at the No. 6 spot, 3-6, 6-2, 7-5. This was Orletsky's fourth-consecutive win and stretched her season record to 8-3.

The Knights will travel to Daytona Beach March 11 to face Bethune-Cookman and then will return home for a four-game home stand beginning March 14 against UAB.
