AWENDAW, S.C. (UCFAthletics.com) - Play continued Monday at the Hootie at Bulls Bay, and the UCF men's golf team is 13th after two rounds of the top-notch event. Play at the 15-team tournament at the Bulls Bay Golf Club will conclude Tuesday.
The event features 12 of the top-50 squads in the country.
UCF posted a 2-over 284 during Monday's second round. Through 36 holes, the Knights are 17-over 585. No. 29 LSU leads the field at 566 (-2), followed by No. 19 South Carolina (568, E).
A pair of Knights carded 3-under 68s Monday - sophomores Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.) and Connor Arendell (Cape Coral, Fla.). Schneider entered the day tied for 32nd and is now tied for 18th at 143 (+1). Arendell is tied for 34th at 146 (+4), as is junior Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal). Henriques carded an even-71 in the second round.
Matt Hill of NC State is the individual leader at 7-under 135.
