ORLANDO, Fla.(UCFAthletics.com) - Coming off a first-place finish at the Rio Pinar Invitational last week, the UCF men's golf team will head to Awendaw, S.C., to compete in the Hootie at Bulls Bay tournament. The three-day, three-round event at the Bulls Bay Golf Club will begin Sunday.

The 15-team field features 11 of the top-40 teams in the country including No. 3 Augusta State, No. 15 Clemson, No. 17 South Carolina and No. 25 Virginia.

The Knights lineup consists of senior Simon Ward (County Monagahn, Ireland), junior Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal), sophomores Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.) and Connor Arendell (Cape Coral, Fla.) and freshman Reid Martin (Mukilteo, Wash.).

The Knights competed in the event last year and finished in fourth place. Schneider tied for 11th and Ward tied for 22nd.

Schneider led the Knights to their tournament title at last week's Rio Pinar, and earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors.
