ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This week's edition of UCF Sports Today with Kirk Speraw, which airs Tuesday, will take a look at the Knights' increased attendance this campaign. The 30-minute show is set for 10:30 a.m. on Bright House Sports Network, 12:30 p.m. on UCF TV and statewide on Sun Sports at 4 p.m.
The Knights are averaging 5,531 fans at the UCF Arena in 2009-10, up from 4,390 a year ago. Through only 13 games this season, 71,899 spectators have already watched the Knights play in Orlando. Last year, UCF played 16 contests at home and 70,244 fans attended the games.
During this week's show, Speraw and host Marc Daniels will also preview UCF's two Conference USA contests this week, starting with Wednesday's game versus visiting UAB.
The episode includes music from Ambertone (myspace.com/ambertone) and The Dropa Stone (myspace.com/thedropastone).
Tip-off for the contest with UAB is set for 7 p.m. The evening is serving as Orlando Magic Knight at UCF, and will include a pregame autograph session with former Magic center Bo Outlaw, plus special prizes.
