ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - On Saturday, the UCF men's golf squad will open its spring season at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville. Head coach Bryce Wallor has set the Knights' lineup for the two-day event.
Junior Nuno Henriques (Funchal, Portugal) received an exemption to compete in the tournament by tying for 25th at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational in the fall. Sophomores Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.) and Connor Arendell (Cape Coral, Fla.), senior Simon Ward (County Monaghan, Ireland) and freshman Reid Martin (Mukilteo, Wash.) posted the top-four scores during UCF's recent qualifier to join Henriques in the lineup.
Schneider had the best showing at the five-round qualifier, posting a 367. Arendell placed second at 372.
