Knights to Host Tulsa at 5 p.m. Saturday

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - One of the top squads in Conference USA will visit the UCF Arena Saturday when the UCF men's basketball team hosts Tulsa at 5 p.m. The Golden Hurricane are 16-4 overall and tied for second in the league standings at 5-1.

The Knights (10-10, 2-4 C-USA) have not had back-to-back home games this month. UCF faced host SMU Wednesday and freshman forward Keith Clanton (Orlando, Fla.) led the way with 11 points and seven rebounds. Clanton is averaging 10.7 points in conference play.

Tulsa has won seven of its last eight contests. Ben Uzoh is the team's top scorer at 16.4 points per game. Jerome Jordan, the league's preseason player of the year, is averaging 14.6 points and 8.3 rebounds.

Tickets for the contest start at just $5. The UCF Arena box office will be open before the game. All UCF students are admitted free with a valid school ID. Saturday will serve as Scout Day at the UCF Arena, with several fun activities planned for youngsters. For more information about the event, or to order group tickets, call (407) UCF-1000.

After the game, fans can remain on campus and attend the inaugural UCF Baseball Fan Fest. The free event, which begins inside the Venue at UCF at 7 p.m., will feature food, prizes and a chance to meet the 2010 Knights.

UCF-Tulsa will be televised live in central Florida on Bright House Sports Network. Bernie Guenther will handle the play-by-play duties, and will be joined by Mark Wise.

The game will air on the UCF-ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 The Game in Orlando, with Marc Daniels and former UCF standout guard Mike O'Donnell on the call. Live video and statistics will be available at UCFAthletics.com.
