ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - When UCF opens the regular season this Friday against visiting Massachusetts, head coach Kirk Speraw's Knights will take the floor as the second-youngest team in the country. UCF's roster features just three upperclassmen and 13 underclassmen.

Only one team in the nation - Harvard with 14 - has more underclassmen than UCF. Toledo is tied for second with the Knights.

UCF has one senior, two juniors, five sophomores, two redshirt freshmen and six true freshmen. The Knights are one of 18 teams nationally with at least 10 underclassmen.

UCF is one of seven teams with three or fewer underclassmen. Saint Louis is tops on the list, with just one upperclassman. Senior guard Drew Speraw (Oviedo, Fla.), junior forward A.J. Tyler (Palm Harbor, Fla.) and junior guard Taylor Young (Orlando, Fla.) enter the year as UCF's lone upperclassmen.

Tip-off for Friday's game versus Massachusetts is set for 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena. Season tickets, which begin at just $79, are still available by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com.
