TEAM NOTES
- UCF's 336 total offense is its season-high and ties for the most since the 2007 Conference USA Championship game when UCF had 436 yards in a win over Tulsa.
- UCF's 266 passing yards today is the team's most since having 267 against UTEP on Nov. 24, 2007.
- A.J. Guyton produced UCF's first 100-yard receiving game since Kamar Aiken had 122 at East Carolina in 2007.
- UCF's 89 yard scoring drive in the first quarter was a season-long. Brett Hodges was 3-of-3 for 64 yards passing on the drive.
- Brett Hodges' 40-yard completion to Kamar Aiken in the first quarter was UCF's longest pass play of the season.
- UCF played a defending conference champion for the second-consecutive week. UCF defeated defending MAC Champion Buffalo, 23-17, last week.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Brett Hodges set a career high for passing yards, completions and attempts.
- A.J. Guyton set a career high for receptions and receiving yards. His 29-yard second quarter reception was a season-long for him.
- LB Lawrence Young's second quarter interception was his first of the season.
- Kamar Aiken's 40-yard first quarter reception put him over the 1,000 career receiving yard plateau.
- Redshirt freshman RB Brendan Kelly saw his first career action.
- Torrell Troup started his 20th consecutive game at defensive tackle.
- UCF's game captains today were QB Brett Hodges, a Wake Forest transfer, and LB Jordan Richards, a native of near-by Cary, N.C. The Scout Team Players of the Week were QB Nico Flores and LB Michael Dominguez.
