Exciting Lineup Planned for this Week's Edition of SportsKnight

Sept. 22, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - SportsKnight, the weekly UCF program highlighting all things UCF athletics, will air this Tuesday at noon with an exciting line-up and much for fans to look forward to.

Host Jeff Sharon will take a look at what has been a busy week for the Knights, diving into everything from the volleyball team's exciting new tradition in VollyBowl II to victories by the men's soccer and football teams.

The SportsKnight Spotlight this week will focus on volleyball seniors Erin Campbell and Andee Youngblood. With a number of younger players on the team, their role as seniors has been emphasized even more, and the two will share their thoughts on this position of senior leadership.

SportsKnight will also be sitting down with head men's soccer coach Bryan Cunningham to discuss the season to this point as well as the season going forward as the team heads into conference play.

Additionally, the news and notes segment will take a look at highlights from the UCF women's soccer team, including reaching the top 25 in the national rankings and sophomore goalkeeper Aline Reis being named National Player of the Week.

The SportsKnight plays of the week will also be featured. "Not Your Enemy" by Mega Phone is the feature track on this week's edition of the plays of the week. UCF Athletics, Real Rock and Axis Magazine are proud to support local area music.

The program will air statewide each week on Sun Sports (Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.) as well as regionally on Bright House Sports Network (Wednesday, 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.). UCF TV also re-airs the program several times per week so viewers have several chances to catch this week's highlights.
