Golfweek.tv Feature on Brad Schneider
ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the UCF men's golf team in the national spotlight at the NCAA Championship this week, Golfweek has featured the story of redshirt freshman Brad Schneider (Valrico, Fla.) on its web site. The video clip details Schneider's return to the course from a serious leg injury that he suffered while in high school.
An All-C-USA Second Team selection, Schneider has competed in all 13 of UCF's events this season. He finished second in mid-May at the NCAA Regional in Sorrento, Fla., helping the Knights claim the tournament title.
UCF began play at the NCAA Championship at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, Tuesday. The squad will start the second round at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday.
The clip on Golfweek.tv is hosted by UCF alum Asher Wildman and includes interviews with Schneider and head coach Nick Clinard.
