HATTIESBURG, Miss. (UCFAthletics.com) - After arriving in Hattiesburg Monday night for the C-USA Championship, the UCF baseball team went right to work Tuesday with a morning practice at Southern Miss. Click on the included link to access the photo gallery from the one-hour practice session.
The Knights, which did not play at Pete Taylor Park during the 2009 regular season, opened up with some light stretching and long toss. They then went right into some intense fielding work, and with the energy level throughout the team rising, they finished up with about 30 minutes of batting practice.
It was the last team practice before UCF gets its tournament underway Wednesday as the No. 8 seed, and will meet No. 1 East Carolina at 5 p.m. ET. Every Black and Gold game in the postseason will be featured on 740-AM with Marc Daniels on the call.
