? Jermaine Taylor totaled 15 points versus Southern Miss, giving him a school record 812 for the year. Bo Clark previously had the UCF single-season high, totaling 806 points during the 1976-77 campaign.
? The game served as Taylor's 122nd contest at UCF, tying him with Troy Lindbeck (2002-06) for second on the school's career games played register.
? A.J. Tyler's 16 points led the Knights and were good for a career high. His 35 minutes also matched a career high.
? A.J. Rompza recorded a game-high eight assists. The freshman dished out 150 helpers on the year, good for third on the UCF single-season register.
? Another freshman, Isaac Sosa, scored nine points in the losing effort. Sosa hit one triple versus the Golden Eagles, giving him 57 for the season.
? The Knights were meeting Southern Miss for the second time this season. On Jan. 21, host UCF recorded a 73-61 win over the Golden Eagles.
