ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF Sports Today with men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw is set to air Tuesday afternoon on UCF TV at 12:30 p.m. and on Sun Sports at 4 p.m. The feature story this week will be on the layout of the Academic Village.
Highlights from last week's wins against Southern Miss and Marshall at home will be shown on the 30-minute program. Host Marc Daniels and Speraw will preview the Knights upcoming matchup against Southern Miss, which is set for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena.
Jermaine Taylor (Taveras, Fla.), Isaac Sosa (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico), and A.J. Tyler (Palm Harbor, Fla.) take viewers on a tour of these facilities and show how easy it is for them to get from one place to another. All the players necessities are within walking distance on the north side of campus including the dorms, arena, practice facility and cafeteria.
UCF is 13-6 overall and 3-2 in league play. Speraw's team is 10-1 in Orlando this season. After a three-game homestand, the Knights travel to New Orleans on Saturday to play Tulane at 3:30 p.m. eastern time.
