UCF Sports Today Set for Tuesday

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF Sports Today with Kirk Speraw is set to broadcast Tuesday afternoon and this week's episode will include a feature story on senior guard Jermaine Taylor (Tavares, Fla.), who has developed into one of the premier players in the nation. The program will air on UCF TV at 12:30 p.m. and then statewide on Sun Sports at 4 p.m.

An All-America candidate, Taylor ranks 10th nationally in scoring, averaging 23.1 points an outing. He is currently fifth at UCF and 15th in Conference USA with 1,560 career points.

The 30-minute show will include highlights from UCF's contests at UAB and Rice last week. Speraw and host Marc Daniels will also preview the Knights' game against Southern Miss, which is set for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena.

UCF is 11-6 overall and 1-2 in league play. Speraw's team is 8-1 in Orlando this season.

The game against Southern Miss will begin a three-game homestand for the Knights.
