? Tonight's attendance of 9,825 set a new UCF Arena record. The previous high was 7,097 when UCF hosted Tulsa in the Conference USA opener last season.
? For the first time this season, the Knights dropped a contest after leading at the half. The black and gold went into the intermission leading the Tigers 40-39.
? With his three triples in the first half, Jermaine Taylor moved into second place on the UCF career 3-point field goals list, passing Mike O'Donnell (2005-08), who recorded 195 in his career.
? Taylor also rose on the career field goal attempts list by putting up 21 shots and moving past D'Quarius Stewart (1996-00). Taylor now has 1,182 attempts in his tenure at UCF.
? With a team-leading 24 points in tonight's contest, Taylor has now led the Knights in scoring 50 times in his career.
? With 16 points and 10 rebounds in tonight's tilt, Tony Davis collected his first double-double of the 2008-09 season. The 10 rebounds also mark the 20th time in his career that he has pulled down seven or more boards in a game.
? Davis also collected three blocks in the game, which gives the junior 13 career games in which he has swatted two or more shots.
? With five assists, A.J. Rompza has led the team in assists 12 times this season. Rompza has now dished out five or more dimes in nine games this season.
