$99 Season Ticket for UCF Men's Basketball Now Available

Nov. 10, 2008

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - With the 2008-09 UCF men's basketball campaign set to begin Sunday, fans can catch all of the exciting action during the year at the UCF Arena starting for only $99. A special $99 season ticket is now available and can be purchased by calling the UCF ticket sales office at (407) UCF-1000.

For only $6 a game, fans can watch the Knights compete at the state-of-the-art UCF Arena.

Led by one of the nation's premier players in senior guard Jermaine Taylor, the Knights are scheduled to play 16 regular-season games at the UCF Arena. The team will make its season debut Sunday, hosting North Carolina A&T.

The non-conference slate is highlighted by a visit from cross-state foe USF on Dec. 6. The two schools have not met in Orlando since the 2001-02 campaign. In Conference USA play, UCF will have eight games at home, including a matchup with national power Memphis on Jan. 10.

This season will serve as the Knights' second campaign at the UCF Arena. The team enjoyed great success at the facility a year ago, claiming 12 victories at home and establishing several attendance records.

A C-USA Player of the Year candidate, Taylor averaged 20.8 points last season, and established a school single-season Division I record with 646 points. Head coach Kirk Speraw's squad includes a mix of talented veterans and impressive newcomers looking to post another successful campaign in C-USA.

Several promotional nights and free giveaways are planned for the season. A new addition to the promotional schedule includes special benefits for Golden Knights Club members.
