ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Over 50 high school coaches participated in a clinic on Saturday morning inside the UCF Basketball Practice Facility. The free clinic was organized by the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches.
Following the clinic, dozens of the coaches watched the Knights practice. Head coach Kirk Speraw's squad spent over two hours working out in front of the attendees.
The FABC is an Orlando-based organization.
UCF's practices have included plenty of instruction. One of the youngest squads in the nation, the Knights have seven true freshmen and 11 total underclassmen on the roster in 2008-09.
The team's season opener is slated for Nov. 16 at home against North Carolina A&T. The Knights are slated to play 16 regular-season contests at the new UCF Arena this season.
Season tickets are currently available. To order your season tickets, and to learn more about the Fastbreak Club and other premium seating opportunities, contact the UCF ticket sales office at (407) UCF-1000.

Notes: Fans will have two opportunities to see the Knights before the start of the season. On Nov. 8, the inaugural UCF Postgame Madness is set for after the UCF-Southern Miss football contest. The free event at the new UCF Arena will include a chance to select your season ticket seat location and an inter-squad scrimmage. On Nov. 11, the Knights will host Flagler for an exhibition game.
