ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF men's soccer team heads to Lexington, Ky., for a Conference USA game with Kentucky at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights are looking to end a two-game slide after dropping back-to-back games against ranked opponents. UCF enters the game with a 6-7-0 record including a 3-2-0 mark in C-USA play while Kentucky is 7-4-2 overall and 3-1-0 in league action.

"Kentucky will be another tough test in our Conference USA schedule," said head coach Bryan Cunningham. "They have a strong offense averaging over two goals per game and we will need to play a disciplined game to get a positive result."

UCF will look to generate some offense against one of the league's top goalkeepers, Dan Williams. Williams has a goals against average of 0.75 and has posted five shutouts.

The Knights continue to be led in scoring by freshman Kevan George (Decatur, Ga.), who has four goals and nine points on the season. Sophomore Yaron Bacher (Atlanta, Ga.) leads the squad with three assists and 35 shots.

Sophomore goalkeeper Sean Johnson (Lilburn, Ga.) continues to lead C-USA in saves with 71 while also ranking tied for third in the league with four shutouts.

UK's Michael Strong is second in the conference with seven goals while Tim Crone is tied for sixth with four.

The Wildcats lead the all-time series with the Knights 3-1-1, including a 3-2 overtime victory last season on Oct. 17, 2007, in Orlando.
