Tiffany Lane belted a two-run home run in the sixth inning to lead the Knights to a 4-2 win over Houston in the Conference USA Championship title game. With the victory, UCF earned the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. A freshman shortstop, Lane garnered tournament MVP honors. She hit .583 with seven hits, including a double and a home run, four runs scored and two RBI. Lane also posted a 1.000 fielding percentage at the event. On Friday, the Knights will open play at the Gainesville Regional against USF.
