ORLANDO - Bringing a slim 3-2 lead into the resumption of game one of the three-game series Saturday at Jay Bergman Field, the No.25 UCF baseball team collected seven more runs to post a 10-2 victory over Monmouth. The game was called in the fifth inning Friday due to rain and completed Saturday, with the originally scheduled game set to start at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Shane Brown opened the day with a three-run homer in the fifth inning that set the table for the UCF offense. Jaager Good improved to 3-0 on the year as Cody Allen and Paul Cinder held the lead in relief.

Josh Siebenaler and Dwayne Bailey each posted three hits in the win.
