ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - With one regular-season contest remaining, the Knights still have the opportunity to finish fourth in Conference USA. UCF (16-13, 9-6 C-USA) is currently fourth in the standings entering Saturday's game at Tulsa.
If the Knights defeat Tulsa, the squad will secure fourth and earn one of four first-round byes at the C-USA Championship, which begins Wednesday in Memphis, Tenn.
Regardless of the outcome of UCF's game, the Knights will also clinch fourth if Southern Miss wins at Marshall on Saturday. UCF cannot finish below fifth in the 12-team league.
UAB secured second in the conference last night and Houston clinched the third seed.
Marshall is 8-7 in league play.
Saturday's contest at Tulsa will be broadcast on the UCF ISP Sports Network and 740 AM in Orlando. Marc Daniels will have the call from the Reynolds Center.
