Previewing Tulsa
The Golden Hurricane travels to Orlando with a 17-11 record after spending its Spring Break motoring around the Sunshine State for a trio of games with Iowa, Stetson and Bethune-Cookman. Tulsa also holds a 5-1 league mark, sweeping UTEP last weekend, while taking two-of-three games from Southern Miss in its C-USA opener.
Lauren Lindsay and Sara Dyer pace the Golden Hurricane offense this season as the duo combines for 26 doubles, eight home runs and 41 RBI. Dyer holds a .384 batting average, while Lindsay is right behind with a .370 clip.
The Knights are 3-4 all-time versus Tulsa, but have won three of the last four meetings with the Golden Hurricane.
Don't Stop There...
With her single in the first inning against Iowa Thursday afternoon, Tiffany Lane extended her hitting streak to 10 games, the longest stretch this season for the Knights. The freshman is hitting .355 with 11 hits, eight runs scored, three RBI and a triple. Her squad has also posted an 8-2 record during the 10-game streak.
Taking Over the Top Spot
Breanne Javier has registered 319 putouts in 339 chances in 2008, marks that both rank atop the C-USA leader board. The junior's numbers have also helped her claim the top spot all-time in program history with 1,289 putouts, while she needs only six more chances to overtake the No. 1 spot from Niki Green, who totaled 1,373 chances as the first baseman from 2002-05. Javier also ties for first all-time with Stephanie Best with 32 double plays turned, needed only one more to have sole possession of the mark.
Quick Knight Facts

The Knights are also 12-1 when scoring in the first inning and 17-5 when they score first in a game. The March 9th game against East Carolina marked the first time this season that the Black and Gold were able to come back and win a game after trailing in the fourth inning.
