? The Knights were facing a nationally-ranked foe for the third time this season and for the 20th time in program history. The contest marked the ninth time that the Knights played a squad ranked in the top 10.
? The contest was played in front of 17,833 fans at the FedEx Forum.
? Mike O'Donnell paced the Knights with 15 points, marking the second time this year that the senior guard has led the team in scoring. Jermaine Taylor, who totaled 13 points, had led the squad in scoring in seven-straight games entering Saturday.
? O'Donnell had one assist against the Tigers and now has 300 for his career at UCF. He needs three assists to move into fifth all-time on the school's career list.
? O'Donnell went 7-of-7 at the free-throw line against the Tigers.
? In nine minutes off of the bench, Jean Michel Yotio scored six points and had four boards before fouling out.
? Playing in his hometown, Andre Thornton came off of the bench to total two points and a rebound in eight minutes.
? Tony Davis paced the Knights on the glass with six rebounds. He has led the team in boards on 10 occasions this season.

? Since joining Conference USA prior to the 2005-06 campaign, the Knights have played five total contests at the FedEx Forum, including two against the Tigers. The venue is the site of the league's championship tournament.
