ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Prior to the Knights' home game Wednesday with East Carolina, fans can watch UCF Sports Today with Kirk Speraw on Sun Sports to learn more about the team. This week's episode, which begins at 5 p.m., will offer a preview of the East Carolina game and will show highlights from UCF's recent Conference USA victory at Rice.
The Knights posted a 60-53 win against Rice in Houston on Saturday behind a game-high 22 points from junior guard Jermaine Taylor (Tavares, Fla./Tavares). Senior guard Dave Noel (Boynton Beach, Fla./Boynton Beach) added 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for UCF.
Wednesday's show includes a feature story about the history of the UCF program. Legendary head coach Torchy Clark began the basketball program at the school in 1969.
UCF Sports Today with Kirk Speraw is hosted by the Knights' radio voice, Marc Daniels, and is produced by the UCF video services staff.

UCF is 13-11 overall in 2007-08 and 6-4 in C-USA play. Following the victory at Rice, the Knights are fourth in the league standings.
