ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF Sports Today with Kirk Speraw will air Wednesday at 5 p.m. statewide on Sun Sports. This week's edition features a behind-the-scenes look into the life of a student-athlete at UCF with junior guard Jermaine Taylor (Tavares, Fla./Tavares).
During the episode, viewers will be able to spend the day with Taylor as he attends classes, participates in practice and film sessions and takes part in study-hall sessions. Averaging 21.7 points per contest in 2007-08, Taylor ranks 13th nationally in scoring.
This week's program also includes highlights from UCF's Feb. 6 win over Marshall and the Knights' contest at No. 1 Memphis last Saturday. UCF's radio voice, Marc Daniels, hosts the 30-minute show, which is produced by the UCF Video Services department.

UCF's next contest is set for Saturday at Rice. After facing the Owls, the team will return to Orlando to host East Carolina on Feb. 20 at the new UCF Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and ticket information is available by calling 407-UCF-1000.
