ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Fans looking to get the latest information on the UCF men's basketball team are encouraged to attend the Kirk Speraw Call-In Show on Monday evening at the Applebee's on University Boulevard near campus. The hour-long program, which airs live on the UCF-ISP Sports Network and 740 AM in Orlando, begins at 6 p.m.
The Knights begin a three-game Conference USA homestand on Wednesday, hosting UAB. UCF is 11-8 overall and 4-1 in C-USA play in 2007-08.
On the radio show, Speraw will join host Marc Daniels to discuss his team and look ahead to preview the Knights' upcoming games.
The Knights have six home games remaining this year and the UCF Athletics Association is offering a pair of ticket deals. The C-USA Pack includes tickets to the remaining contests, which are all against C-USA foes, for $90.
The 3-Point Pack provides fans with tickets to games against UAB (Jan. 30), Houston (Feb. 2) and Rice (March 1) for $39. That package also includes a ticket to the UCF women's game versus East Carolina prior to the men's contest on Feb. 2.
