Recap | Box Score

? UCF has now started conference play 3-0 for the first time since 2003-04.
? With the win, UCF improved to 8-0 all-time against the Pirates. The Knights have won all four series matchups in Greenville.
? Jermaine Taylor led all players with 32 points. He has paced the squad in scoring on 14 occasions this season.
? Taylor has scored at least 30 points twice in 2007-08 and has totaled at least 20 points in 12 games. Prior to this year, a Knight had not recorded at least 30 points since the 2004-05 campaign.
? UCF shot 93.8 percent from the free-throw line, making 15-of-16 attempts. That mark ranks fourth on the school's single-game register. Ironically, the Knights went 15-of-16 at the charity stripe against the Pirates in Greenville last year.
? Tony Davis earned the start at power forward for the Knights. The start served as the first of the sophomore's career. Davis led all players with eight boards. He has paced the squad in rebounds six times this season.
? Mike Battle played 15 minutes off of the bench and scored five points.
? Dave Noel and Mike O'Donnell both recorded four assists in the winning effort.
? Stanley Billings registered two blocks for UCF. O'Donnell also had a swat, just the seventh of his UCF career.
? The Knights are now 10-0 this year when leading at halftime.
? UCF has won eight-consecutive contests in North Carolina.
