HATTIESBURG, Miss. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The season debut of UCF Sports Today with Kirk Speraw is slated for Wednesday afternoon statewide on Sun Sports. The 30-minute weekly program will air at 5 p.m.
The program is hosted by UCF's radio play-by-play voice, Marc Daniels.
Each episode features game highlights, feature stories and insight on the program from Speraw, who is in his 15th season with the Knights.
Wednesday's episode will take a look back at UCF's challenging non-conference schedule, which featured games against a pair of ranked teams. The program will also focus on the team's inaugural game at the new UCF Arena, a 63-60 victory over Nevada.
The program will air each Wednesday for the next 10 weeks. The UCF Video Services office is producing the show.
Fans should check their local television listings to confirm the time of the program.
Speraw's team will play its first Conference USA game at the new UCF Arena on Saturday against Tulsa. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
UCF is 1-0 in C-USA action after posting a 52-41 win over host Southern Miss last night.
The UCF Athletics Association is currently offering a C-USA ticket package that includes tickets to all eight of the Knights' league games.
